NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma quarterbacks Nate Hybl and Jason White each played well again Saturday as they continued to compete for the No. 1 spot.

Hybl completed 21 of 32 passes for 215 yards, with three touchdowns and an interception. White was 15-of-19 for 159 yards, threw a TD pass and ran for a score during the Sooners' second full scrimmage of the spring.

"From beginning to end, I thought that this was the best total effort that our players have turned in this spring," coach Bob Stoops said. "There were plenty of reasons to be happy today."

Sixteen players caught passes during the two-hour scrimmage, led by tight end Lance Donley with six catches for 114 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown came on a 20-yard pass from White.

Curtis Fagan caught two passes from Hybl and scored on each -- covering 76 and 20 yards. Jerad Estus and Renaldo Works each caught four passes, and Quentin Griffin, Antwone Savage and Will Peoples had three receptions apiece.

Griffin, who didn't play in Oklahoma's first scrimmage, gained 28 yards on 10 carries and scored on a 20-yard run.

Antonio Perkins provided the defense with a touchdown when he returned an interception 37 yards for a score.

The Sooners will practice Monday through Thursday but will not scrimmage next Saturday due to the Easter holiday.
