Nebraska Cornhuskers at Iowa St. Cyclones
Week 7 Preview - THE GAME

October 07, 2000
by: Sportvision

Nebraska and Iowa St. meet Saturday in a battle of unbeatens. Ya don't hear that very often this time of year. Iowa St. is off to a 4-0 start for the first time since 1980, and an upset against Nebraska would be the biggest win in the history of the program. The 'Clones believe - and so do their fans - which is a dangerous combination. But Nebraska will give ISU all it can handle. Eric Crouch (7) and company are as close to unstoppable as any ground attack in the country, and they've played in big games before.

Coaching Points:

  • Nebraska's running success has given Eric Crouch (7) time to throw and TE Tracy Wistrom (87) has been the main beneficiary.
  • Crouch comes down the line showing option. When he gets to the tackle, he drops back to pass.
