Nebraska Cornhuskers at Texas Tech Red Raiders Week 8 Preview - The More Things Change October 14, 2000 by: Sportvision Entering the season, Nebraska didn't exactly have the Texas Tech game circled on the schedule. But the Red Raiders have gotten off to a great start under new head coach Mike Leach, and they travel to Lincoln at 5-1. Nebraska has struggled more than usual to open the season, but it hasn't given up a game yet. The Husker running game is dominant as ever. What will pose a challenge for NU is the all-out Raid through the air. This will be fun to watch - old school running game against 21st century passing.

Coaching Points: QB Eric Crouch (7) makes the Husker offense click. The key defender in this match-up is DE Devin Lemons (37) - he must make Crouch pitch. Crouch comes down the line and pitches to Dan Alexander (38). Alexander follows the block of FB Willie Miller (15).
