South Carolina Gamecocks vs Ohio State Buckeyes Outback Bowl - (Game)cocky Again January 01, 2001 by: Sportvision Lou Holtz is bringing South Carolina to a bowl game after a six-year absence and several dismal seasons. They win with an aggressive defense that relentlessly comes at quarterbacks. Ohio State's Steve Bellisari will be the focal point of the Gamecock D on New Year's Day and he must avoid the mistakes that plagued him at different times throughout the year. He likes to scramble out of the pocket, but the Carolina linebackers are excellent and will make rambling difficult for him.

Coaching Points: QB Steve Bellisari (8) loves to throw on the run and rolls to his left here. Bellisari is waiting for WR Ken-Yon Rambo (4) to get open but CB Andre Goodman (35) has great coverage on him.
