LOGAN, Utah (Ticker) -- Oregon leaves the cozy confines of Autzen Stadium for the first time this season when it opens a three-game road trip at Utah State on Saturday.

The sixth-ranked Ducks have won 23 straight home games but will not play again in Eugene until October 20 against Stanford. Oregon visits Arizona and California the next two weeks.

"This will be our first road game and we've been good enough to win at home, but good enough to win at home doesn't mean you're good enough to win on the road," coach Mike Bellotti said. "You have to play significantly better."

Over the last two seasons, the Ducks have split 10 road games, excluding bowls, and will make their first trip to the state of Utah since a 27-20 win at the University of Utah in 1995 in Bellotti's first game as Ducks' coach.

The home field was clearly a factor for the Ducks (3-0) in close wins over Wisconsin and Southern California.

Joey Harrington added to his list of late-game heroics, engineering a 61-yard drive that set up Jared Siegel's 32-yard field goal with 12 seconds left in the 24-22 win over the Trojans last week.

Harrington owns a 9-1 record in games decided over the final 15 minutes. He has brought Oregon from behind eight times in the past three seasons.

The toughest task for the Ducks this week will be to contain Emmett White, who rushed for 274 yards and two touchdowns and caught five passes for 38 yards in a 43-42 loss to Wyoming last week.

White ranks fifth in the nation in rushing (154.3 ypg) while teammate Kevin Curtis leads the nation in receiving yards per game (130.0 ypg).

Utah State's problem is a defense that has allowed 97 points in three games.

Oregon won the only two meetings between the teams in 1976 and 1990. The Aggies have lost their last seven games against ranked opponents since a win over Fresno State in 1991.
