HONOLULU (Ticker) -- Dan Robinson completed 20-of-39 passes for 261 yards and two touchdowns as Hawaii scored 27 unanswered second-half points for a 34-19 triumph over Boise State. Hawaii (2-1) trailed 19-7 at halftime before turning it up over the final 30 minutes. Avion Weaver scored on a four-yard run in the third quarter and Robinson added a one-yard plunge early in the final period to put the Rainbows ahead 20-19. Robinson added scoring passes of five yards to Dwight Carter and 26 yards to Craig Stutzmann as Hawaii won its second straight game following a 19-game losing streak. Stutzmann caught nine passes for 77 yards while Carter added four receptions for 29 yards. Bart Hendricks helped Boise State (1-2) build its lead thanks to a 14-yard touchdown pass to Mike Davisson and a 39-yard strike to Davy Malaythong. Hendricks threw for 217 yards on 19-of-32 passes. Jeb Putzier caught six passes for 68 yards for the Broncos, who open a three-game homestand next week.
