ANNAPOLIS, Maryland (Ticker) -- Carlton Rowe had a six-yard touchdown run with 7:39 left as Boston College avoided an upset with a 14-10 victory over Navy. Rowe rushed 26 times for 81 yards for Boston College (2-0), which has won four of the last five meetings with Navy. Rowe also caught three passes for 57 yards. Tim Hasselbeck completed 16-of-25 passes for 271 yards for the Eagles, who lead the all-time series, 14-11. Hasselbeck tossed a 64-yard touchdown to DuJuan Daniels to give Boston College a 7-0 lead 4:21 into the game. Quarterback Brian Broadwater ran 26 times for 116 yards for Navy (1-2). Broadwater's one-yard plunge gave the Midshipmen a 10-7 lead 5:16 into the fourth quarter. He was 4-of-12 for 84 yards. Navy's Tim Subzda kicked a 25-yard field goal that made it 7-3 with 6:28 left in the first quarter.
