BLOOMINGTON, Indiana (Ticker) -- Antwaan Randle El threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Levron Williams in the first possession of overtime as Indiana rallied for a 34-31 Big Ten Conference victory over Illinois. The Hoosiers (2-3, 1-1 Big Ten) trailed 28-7 with 4:58 left in the third quarter after an 11-yard jaunt by Illinois' Antioneo Harris. Randle El, who completed 17-of-30 passes for 265 yards, capped an 80-yard march with a three-yard dash at the 2:09 mark. Indiana's scramble continued as Williams bulled in from two yards to make it 28-21 with 6:21 remaining. The Hoosiers forced Illinois (3-2, 0-2) into a three-and-out before marching 65 yards for the game-tying score. Randle El completed a 13-yard pass to Jerry Dorsey on 4th-and-9 to the Illinois 17 before calling his own number twice and scoring from seven yards with 2:21 to go. Indiana won the overtime coin toss and deferred possession. The Illini reached the Indiana 14 before settling for a 36-yard field goal by Neil Rackers. Randle El promptly hit Leverson with the game-winning pass on the first play. Randle El ran for 157 yards and accounted for all but 45 of Indiana's 467 yards. The Hoosiers overcame three lost fumbles as they snapped a three-game losing streak. Kurt Kittner was 15-of-35 for 181 yards and one touchdown for the Illini, who received 78 rushing yards from Steve Havard. Illinois fell to 2-19 in conference contests under third-year coach Ron Turner.
