LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (Ticker) -- Frank Moreau rushed for a 129 yards and three touchdowns as Louisville snapped a two-game losing streak with a 45-10 rout of Eastern Michigan. Moreau, who missed almost the entire 1996 season due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament, posted his fourth 100-yard game of the season on 22 carries and boosted his touchdown total to 10. Louisville (3-2) took the lead for good when Chris Redman fired his second touchdown pass, a four-yard strike to Arnold Jackson late in the first quarter for a 14-7 cushion. Redman completed 24-of-31 passes for 259 yards. He is averaging 313 yards per game this season and moved into 10th place on the all-time NCAA Division I-A passing list with 10,457 yards. Moreau scored the next three touchdowns on a pair of one-yard plunges and a 38-yard sprint early in the second half to put the Cardinals ahead, 35-7. Eric Lockhart added a six-yard scoring run and Jon Hilbert booted a 34-yard field goal to close the scoring for Louisville, which has scored at least 36 points four times this season. Eastern Michigan (1-3) was held without an offensive touchdown. David Taylor ran an interception back nine yards for a score in the first quarter and Tollner Starnes booted a 34-yard field goal to close the scoring. Eric Powell rushed for 98 yards on 22 carries as the Eagles were outgained, 456-165.
