Chrys Chukwuma added scoring runs of 13 and three yards in the first half as the Hogs opened a 44-0 lead at halftime. Twenty-one different offensive players touched the ball for Arkansas, which amassed 333 rushing yards and 560 overall. Backup quarterback Robby Hampton completed 7-of-8 passes for 100 yards, while Cobbs had 74 rushing yards, including a 42-yard dash for a score. Eleven different players caught at least one pass, while 11 tried one rush. Four of the scoring drives were 80 yards or longer. Michael Jenkins had a team-high 124 rushing yards on nine carries and scampered 55 yards for a TD. Middle Tennessee (1-5), continuing to experience growing pains, avoided the shutout when quarterback Wes Counts scrambled six yards with 8:46 to go in the third quarter.
