BOULDER, Colorado (Ticker) -- Mike Moschetti threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Stiggers in overtime as Colorado blew a fourth-quarter lead before recovering for a 46-39 Big 12 Conference victory over Missouri. Colorado (3-2, 2-0 Big 12 North) held a 39-25 lead with 4:12 remaining in the fourth quarter after defensive back Damen Wheeler returned an interception 37 yards for a score. However, quarterback Kirk Farmer scored on a 21-yard run before finding Eric Spencer with a 27-yard TD pass with 1:42 left, pulling the Tigers (3-2, 0-2 Big 12 North) even and forcing the extra session. After Moschetti's TD on the first possession, Colorado's defense came up with a final stand. Defensive back Ben Kelly, who returned the opening kickoff 100 yards for a score, intercepted Farmer in the end zone. Kelly has two kickoff returns for scores this season and six in his career. Moschetti completed 20-of-41 passes for 259 yards with two interceptions. He also rushed 12 times for 42 yards, including a one-yard touchdown run with just over seven minutes to play in the fourth quarter that tied the game, 25-25. Farmer finished 11-of-24 for 182 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. His favorite target was Kent Layman, who caught three passes for 127 yards. Missouri was denied its third straight win over Colorado but still leads the all-time series, 35-26-3.
