NEW HAVEN, Connecticut (Ticker) -- Joe Walland threw for 287 yards and a touchdown and Rashad Bartholomew ran for 109 yards and a score as Yale kept Darthmouth winless with a 44-3 romp in an Ivy League matchup. Walland completed 20-of-35 passes as Yale (4-1, 1-1 Ivy) won its fourth straight game since a season-opening 25-24 loss to Brown. Walland also gained 42 yards on seven rushes, including a 22-yard run that gave the Elis a 10-0 lead with 4:32 remaining in the opening quarter. Bartholomew carried 21 times as Yale stopped a nine-game losing streak against Dartmouth. His one-yard plunge gave Yale a 24-3 lead with 8:33 to go in the third quarter. Brian Mann was 12-of-19 for 105 yards for Darthmouth (0-5, 0-2), which has lost its last 10 games. Alex Csizinszky kicked a 44-yard field to cut the deficit to 10-3 with 7:40 left in the second quarter. Yale took a 17-3 advantage with four seconds left in the first half when Walland threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Eric Johnson. Todd Tomich had a 30-yard interception return for a score to make it 31-3 with 7:33 to go in the third. Mike Murawczyk kicked field goals of 38 and 29 yards in the fourth quarter to push the lead to 37-3. Jay Schulze had a 31-yard TD run with 3:02 left to make the final margin.
