FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas (Ticker) -- Clint Stoerner threw for 245 yards and three touchdowns and Chrys Chukwuma ran for 115 yards and a score as Arkansas routed Southeastern Conference West rival Auburn, 34-10. Most of the final three quarters were played under somber conditions after Auburn quarterback Ben Leard suffered a head injury early in the second period. The junior from Hartwell, Georgia was unconscious for a few moments before being taken from the field by a stretcher and to a local hospital. "Ben will be fine," said Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville. "He just has a concussion. I'm personally glad he's fine." Leard had not played since September 25, when he suffered a shoulder seperation against Mississippi. Prior to leaving, Leard completed 5-of-8 passes for 41 yards. His replacement, freshman Jeff Klein, did not fare much better, going 12-of-22 for just 74 yards as the Tigers (3-5, 1-5 SEC West), who managed just 195 yards of offense. Since opening the season 3-0, Auburn has lost five straight, its first losing streak this long since 1952. The game marked just the second meeting between the schools in SEC action. Auburn, which leads the all-time series, 5-3-1 but lost for the first time in three trips to Fayetteville. Arkansas (5-2, 2-2) scored the game's first 20 points and cruised to its third straight victory. Stoerner's five-yard scoring strike to tight end Joe Dean Davenport 4 1/2 minutes into the contest began the barrage and shortly thereafter the duo hooked up again on a seven-yard score. Davenport caught four passes for 51 yards. Tony Dodson booted field goals of 44 and 40 yards in a 7:11 span of the second quarter before Auburn got its first points of the day courtsey of Damon Duval, who connected on a career-long 47-yarder. Stoerner was 19-of-26, did not get picked off and provided the Razorbacks with a 27-3 lead 2 1/2 minutes into the third quarter when he found Boo Williams for a nine-yard TD. Chukwuma, who carried 19 times, scored on a nine-yard run five minutes later. Auburn's Heath Evans, who carried 15 times for a career-high 68 yards, broke loose for a four-yard scoring run with 7:04 to play. It was the second rushing touchdown of his career.
