WACO, Texas (Ticker) -- Mike Moschetti completed 18-of-23 passes for 210 yards and a touchdown as Colorado's defense posted its first shutout of the season, 37-0, over Big 12 rival Baylor.

Moschetti, a 6-0, 195-pound senior, hit Miles Koon with a three-yard scoring strike with 2:08 left in the first half, giving the Buffaloes (6-4, 5-2 Big 12 North) a 24-0 bulge.

Colorado's defense, which had its best performance in a 16-12 triumph at Iowa State on October 23, was inpenetrable today. The Buffaloes allowed just six first downs, 114 total yards and 2.5 yards per play in handing the Bears (1-9, 0-7 South) their second shutout loss of the year.

Jeremy Aldrich hit three fields goals, including a 37-yarder as time expired in the first half that stretched Colorado's lead to 27-0.

Cortle Johnson and Dwayne Cherrington combined to rush for 83 yards on 23 carries and one touchdown each for Colorado, which won its third straight visit to Waco and leads the all-time series, 7-4.

Baylor quarterbacks Jermaine Alfred, Odell James and Michael Odum combined to comblete just 4-of-21 passes for 40 yards. The Bears have lost five in a row since their lone win against North Texas State on October 10.
