BOISE, Idaho (Ticker) -- Nakoa McElrath grabbed eight passes for 210 yards and three touchdowns as Washington State coasted to a 41-20 victory over Boise State.

McElrath had TD receptions of seven and 25 yards in the first quarter before hauling in a 71-yard TD from wide receiver Collin Henderson in the third period.

McElrath's receiving total was the sixth-highest total in school history.

Jason Gasser completed 18-of-27 for 252 yards and three touchdowns for the Cougars (2-0), who rolled up 544 yards in last week's season-opening 36-7 victory over Idaho.

Gasser tossed a 65-yard TD strike to Mike Bush with 11:14 remaining in the second quarter before Matt Kegel scored on a one-yard TD run with 2:45 left in the half to give the Cougars a 28-6 halftime lead.

Washington State stretched its margin to 34-6 on Raonall Smith's 54-yard interception return with 8:44 to go in the third quarter.

Ryan Dinwiddie, who completed 17-of-34 for 314 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions for Boise State, found David Mikell for a 47-yard score with 6:07 left in the third.

But McElrath and Henderson hooked up just 64 seconds later to make it 41-13.

Washington State passed for 380 yards and rushed for 110 yards. Dave Minnich gained 77 yards on 22 carries.

Jay Swillie and Lou Fanucchi had 100-yard receiving games for Boise State, but the Broncos were held to just 54 yards on the ground.

Washington State has won all four meetings against Boise State.
