MADISON, Wisconsin (Ticker) -- If the first three weeks of the season was supposed to be a test, Fresno State would be on the dean's list. Bernard Berrian returned the second-half kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown as Fresno State scored the game's final 22 points en route to a 32-20 upset of 23rd-ranked Wisconsin. Coming off impressive wins over Colorado and nationally ranked Oregon State, Fresno State fell behing by double digits in this contest before rallying over the final 30 minutes. A freshman, Berrian started things with his electrifying return to start the second half. After an interception on the Badgers' second play of the half, the Bulldogs took a 26-20 lead on a 16-yard TD pass from David Carr to Rodney Wright. Asen Asparuhov kicked a 34-yard field goal late in the third quarter before connecting from 17 yards midway through the final period to give the Bulldogs (3-0) the final margin. Jim Sorgi ran for one score and passed for another for Wisconsin (1-2), which has lost consecutive games following a season-opening victory over Virginia.
