BLOOMINGTON, Indiana (Ticker) -- Utah stopped a two-point conversion run late in the fourth quarter and rallied for a 28-26 victory over Indiana behind a pair a fourth-quarter touchdown passes by Lance Rice. Indiana (0-2) closed within two on Antwaan Randle El's 13-yard TD pass to Glenn Johnson with 3:35 remaining, but Randle El was stopped short of the goal line on the conversion run. Rice tossed TD strikes of 27 yards to Cliff Russell and 10 yards to Dennis Smith in the final period, helping the Utes (2-1) rally from a 20-14 deficit. Rice completed 21-of-29 for 278 yards, while Dameon Hunter rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries. Randle El scored on TD runs of one and six yards, giving Indiana a 14-7 lead 2:36 into the second half. Utah tied it on Hunter's second TD, a 13-yard scamper with 8:15 remaining in the third quarter, before Indiana regained the lead on Levron Williams' two-yard TD burst run just under four minutes later. But Adam Braucher missed the conversion kick, a point that turned out to be critical for the Hoosiers. Williams rushed for 116 yards on 15 carries for Indiana, which suffered a season-opening 35-14 loss to North Carolina State on September 6. Randle El completed 13-of-23 for 157 yards.
