AMES, Iowa (Ticker) -- Seneca Wallace was nearly perfect, completing 22-of-24 passes for 299 yards and four touchdowns as Iowa State opened Big 12 Conference play with a 41-0 whitewashing of Baylor.

Wallace threw TD strikes to four different receivers as the Cyclones (3-0, 1-0 Big 12 North) rolled up 509 yards of total offense.

Iowa State posted its seventh straight victory, matching the school's longest winning streak in 40 years.

The Cyclones allowed just 13 yards rushing and recorded their first shutout since blanking Nevada-Las Vegas, 24-0, on September 18, 1999.

Wallace threw TD strikes of 19 yards to Lane Danielson and 29 yards to Lance Young to give Iowa State a 17-0 lead after the first period.

Wallace made it 24-0 by finding Jack Whitver for an 11-yard TD with 17 seconds left in the first half. He connected with Craig Campell for a nine-yard score four minutes into the second half.

Iowa State completed the scoring in the fourth quarter on Tony Yelk's 22-yard field goal and JaMain Billips' one-yard TD run.

Josh Zachry completed 19-of-28 for just 115 yards and two interceptions for Baylor (2-1, 0-1 South), which opened the season with wins over Arkansas State and New Mexico.
