MONROE, Louisiana (Ticker) -- Kenton Keith rushed for 90 yards and three touchdowns as New Mexico State won its first game in the Sun Belt Conference with a 31-0 rout of winless Louisiana-Monroe.

Keith opened the scoring with a two-yard TD run with 9:20 left in the first quarter and capped a 20-play, 83-yard drive with a one-yard touchdown plunge as the Aggies (1-4, 1-0 Sun Belt) built a 14-0 halftime edge.

Keith's third touchdown, an eight-yard scamper, made it 21-0 before K.C. Enzminger tossed a 41-yard TD touchdown pass to H.B Briscoe for a 28-0 bulge entering the final quarter.

Dario Aguiniga's 24-yard field goal in the fourth provided the final margin.

New Mexico State faced a favorable opponent after suffering a 64-0 loss to Kansas State last week.

Enzminger completed 14-of-23 passes for 166 yards and also rushed for 71 yards on 13 carries. Walter Taylor added 53 yards rushing for the Aggies, who racked up 288 yards on the ground.

New Mexico State outgained Louisiana-Monroe, 454-177, and limited the Indians to just 30 yards rushing. The Aggies also had three sacks and held the ball for nearly 41 minutes.

Louisiana-Monroe (0-4, 0-2) suffered its 12th straight loss. The quarterback tandem of Andy Chance and Andre Vige combined to go 16-for-35 for 147 yards and two interceptions.
