STILLWATER, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Oklahoma State began a stretch of three conseutive home games with a convincing 24-0 victory over Division I-AA Northwestern State.

Oklahoma State (2-2) scored all the points it needed with a pair of touchdowns in the second quarter.

Sophomore quarterback Aso Pogi put the Cowboys up, 7-0, with a one-yard TD run with 5:47 remaining in the first half.

Two and a half minutes later, Pogi connected with Rashaun Woods on a 11-yard TD pass to give Oklahoma State a 14-0 lead.

Woods made 10 catches for 144 yards, giving him 31 receptions for 394 yards this season.

Pogi was on target throughout, completing 18-of-23 for 195 yards and two touchdowns.

Northwestern State (3-1), which defeated Texas Christian, 27-24, in overtime last week, was unable to get anything going against the Oklahoma State defense. The Demons punted 10 times and committed 11 penalties.
