But Colorado State took the lead for good on Dexter Wynn's 95-yard kickoff return. Kent Naughton's 25-yard field goal with four seconds left gave the Rams a 17-7 halftime edge. Wyoming closed to 17-14 on Nate Scott's four-yard TD run five minutes into the third period, but the Rams stretched their lead to 27-14 entering the final quarter on Naughton's 38-yard field goal and Childs' two-yard TD run. In the fourth period, Van Pelt tossed a five-yard TD pass to Jose Ochoa and Michael Vomhof scored on a one-yard TD run. Bramlet completed 13-of-26 for 162 yards for the Cowboys and threw four interceptions. Scott rushed for 87 yards on 21 carries.
