AUBURN, Alabama (Ticker) -- Damon Duval kicked three field goals in the fourth quarter, including a 47-yarder with 18 seconds remaining, as Auburn rallied for a 16-14 Southeastern Conference victory over Mississippi State. The Tigers (4-1, 3-0 SEC West) trailed, 14-7, entering the final period, but Duval converted kicks of 30 and 19 yards to make it 14-13 with 9:44 remaining. After forcing Mississippi State to punt, Auburn took over with 4:23 remaining and drove 30 yards in eight plays to set up the winning kick. The Bulldogs (1-3, 0-3) suffered their third straight loss and dropped into a last-place tie with Arkansas in the SEC West. Wayne Madkin tossed a 37-yard touchdown pass to Justin Jenkins, then connected with Jenkins for the two-point conversion to give Mississippi State a 14-7 lead with 2:25 remaining in the third quarter. Casinious Moore, who rushed for 162 yards on 20 carries, rambled 50 yards for a touchdown with 7:47 remaining in the first quarter to give Auburn a 7-0 lead. John Marlin kicked field goals of 43 and 22 yards in the second period to pull the Bulldogs within 7-6 at the intermission. Madkin completed 12-of-25 for 176 yards with an interception for the Bulldogs, who rushed for only 109 yards. Dicenzo Miller returned for Mississippi State after missing last week's game against Florida with a sprained left ankle, but he was not effective, gaining just 31 yards on 11 carries. Jason Campbell completed just 7-of-13 for 79 yards for Auburn and was sacked three times. The Tigers snapped a four-game losing streak to the Bulldogs and increased their lead in the all-time series to 51-22-2.
