TULSA, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Tony Lukins returned two kickoffs for touchdowns, leading New Mexico State to a 24-7 victory over Tulsa.

Lukins had an 89-yard return in the first quarter and a 100-yard return to start the second half, becoming the first player in school history to have two in one game.

The only other time New Mexico State (2-4) had two kickoff touchdowns in a game was against Drake on October 15, 1983.

Lukins' first score answered Eric Richardson's one-yard TD run that had given Tulsa (1-3) a 7-0 lead with 7:10 remaining in the first period.

Dario Aguiniga kicked a 31-yard field goal with one second remaining in the first half to give the Aggies a 10-7 halftime lead.

Keon Johnson capped the scoring with a three-yard TD run with 8:37 remaining in the fourth quarter.

K.C. Enzminger completed just 8-of-19 for 124 yards and an interception for New Mexico State and also rushed for 69 yards on 10 carries.

Three Tulsa quarterbacks combined to pass for 321 yards, with Josh Blankenship completing 17-of-35 for 189 yards. However, the Golden Hurricane was held to just 51 yards on the ground.

New Mexico State has won two straight against Tulsa to cut the Golden Hurricane's lead in the all-time series to 15-4.
