IOWA CITY, Iowa (Ticker) -- John Navarre tossed a 13-yard touchdown pass to Shawn Thompson with 8:34 left as No. 8 Michigan rallied from a 13-point deficit to post a 32-36 Big Ten Conference victory over Iowa.

It was the Wolverines' 10th win in their last 12 meetings with the Hawkeyes and their fifth straight at Iowa.

Michigan (6-1, 4-0 Big 10) trailed, 20-7, on a 40-yard field goal by Nate Kaeding with 9:35 left in the third quarter, but Chris Perry ran three yards for a score with 5:56 left in the quarter.

Navarre completed 12-of-33 passes for 188 yards and an interception while Perry ran for just four yards on two carries.

Kyle McCann completed 14-of-27 passes for 170 yards and two interceptions for Iowa (4-3, 2-3). Backup Brad Banks was 5-of-8 for 86 yards and a score.

Michigan leads the all-time series, 37-8-4.

After a scoreless first period, Iowa opened the scoring 84 seconds into the second when Banks hit Dallas Clark from five yards away.

Nate Kaeding added a 25-yard field goal with 3:43 left in the quarter before Michigan got on the board when Zack Kaufman blocked an attempted punt by Clint Hinderaker in the end zone. Roy Manning recovered the loose ball for a touchdown with 1:42 left before halftime.

The Hawkeyes added to their lead when Chris Oliver fielded a punt at Iowa's 35. He ran to his right and handed the ball to C.J. Jones, who ran down the left sidelines for a touchdown, making it 17-7.

After Perry's touchdown pulled the Wolverines within six, Marquise Walker leaped over double coverage in the end zone and with his right hand, caught a four-yard pass from Navarre with 38 seconds left, making it 21-20 Michigan.

Iowa came back with 12:56 remaining in the game on a four-yard TD by LaDell Betts as he ran through Michigan safety Charles But the two-point conversion failed and Iowa, led 26-21.

After Navarre's TD toss to Thompson put the Wolverines ahead, Hayden Epstein booted a 51-yard field goal to make it 32-26 with 3:57 remaining.

Iowa tried to rally as Jones caught a 14-yard pass on 3rd-and 7 to give the Hawkeyes a first down at the Michigan 48 with less than two minutes to play. But McCann failed to convert a 4th-and-1 with 49 seconds left, sealing the victory for the Wolverines.
