The win kept alive Colorado State's hopes for an eighth consecutive winning season under coach Sonny Lubick. The Rams 5-5, 4-2 MVC) close their campaign at New Mexico on November 17. Quarterback Keith Boyea rushed for 188 yards and scored all three touchdowns for Air Force (5-4, 2-3), which saw its bowl hopes suffer a serious blow.
