FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas (Ticker) -- Cedric Cobbs rushed for 101 yards and scored the game-wining touchdown on a 15-yard run with 1:20 remaining as Arkansas rallied for a 24-21 victory over Mississippi State in a Southeastern Conference matchup. The Razorbacks' rushing game was dominating by Cobbs, who ran for three touchdowns, Matt Jones and Fred Talley. Jones rushed for 131 yards on just 10 carries and Talley carried 19 times for 84 yards. Mississippi State trailed, 17-7, entering the fourth quarter, but Kevin Fant capped a 72-yard drive with a 19-yard touchdown pass to Justin Jenkins with 5:07 left. Dicenzio Miller broke off a 25-yard tocuhdown run three minutes later to give the Bulldogs a 21-17 lead with 2:07 remaining. Arkansas (7-3, 4-3 SEC West) took the ensuing kickoff and went 50 yards on just four plays before Cobbs scored his third touchdown from 15 yards out. Cobbs opened the scoring with a five-yard scamper late in the first quarter and added a 14-yarder with 3:55 left in the third quarter to give the Razorbacks a 17-7 lead. Arkansas gained 329 of its 463 yards on the ground and held Mississippi State (2-7, 1-6) to just 65 rushing yards. The Razorbacks' defense recorded three sacks and three interceptions against Fant, who completed 17-of-31 passes for 192 yards. Terrell Grindle caught five passes for 83 yards and Jenkins also had five catches for 67 for the Bulldogs.
