SAN JOSE, California (Ticker) -- Boise State remained unbeaten in the Western Athletic Conference as Ryan Dinwiddie passed for 356 yards and Brock Forsey rushed for three touchdowns in a 45-8 victory over San Jose State.
Dinwiddie completed 17-of-33 passes, including a 28-yard touchdown strike to Brock Forsey with 1:35 left in the first half that gave the Broncos (7-1, 4-0 WAC) a 28-0 halftime lead.
Boise State has won six in a row since a 41-14 loss at Arkansas on September 7.
The Broncos dominated the Spartans with a balanced attack as Forsey rushed for 166 yards on 29 carries. He also scored on runs of nine and two yards in the first quarter to stake Boise State to a 21-0 lead.
The high-scoring Broncos collected 650 yards of total offense, averaging 7.3 yards per play.
Boise State has averaged an astounding 57 points in its last five games, including a 67-21 win over defending co-WAC champion Fresno State last week.
San Jose State (4-5, 2-2) avoided the shutout on Scott Rislov's 27-yard TD pass to Jama Broussard with just under seven minutes left in the contest.
Rislov completed 32-of-52 passes for the Spartans. His favorite target was Charles Pauley, who had 10 receptions for 105 yards.
