CORVALLIS, Oregon (Ticker) -- Steven Jackson rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries as Oregon State overpowered Arizona, 38-3, in a Pac-10 Conference contest.
Jackson capped an 11-play, 65-yard drive with a five-yard TD run 3:15 into the contest, and the Beavers (6-3, 2-3) never looked back.
Jackson, who ran for a school-record 239 yards in last week's 24-13 victory over California, has rushed for 1,138 yards this season. Last week, he became the fifth 1,000-yard rusher in school history.
Derek Anderson completed just 12-of-28 passes but threw for 238 yards for Oregon State. More than a third of that total came on an 86-yard TD strike to James Newson that made it 21-0 early in the second period.
Jackson barreled in from the 1 with 62 seconds left in the half to give the Beavers a 28-0 cushion at the intermission.
Oregon State rolled up 457 yards of total offense while holding Arizona to a season-low 93 yards.
The Wildcats (3-6, 0-5) got their only points on Bobby Gill's 43-yard field goal with 1:02 left in the third quarter.
Jason Johnson completed 14-of-28 passes for 105 yards for Arizona and was sacked five times. The Wildcats were held to minus-23 yards on the ground.
Oregon State posted its fourth straight win over Arizona to cut the Wildcats' lead in the all-time series to 19-6-1.
