EL PASO, Texas (Ticker) -- Brock Forsey ran for three touchdowns and caught another as Boise State manhandled Texas El Paso, 58-3, to remain the only undefeated team in Western Athletic Conference play.
Ryan Dinwiddie tossed three touchdowns and ran for one as the Broncos (8-1, 5-0 WAC) scored at least 45 points for the sixth straight game en route to theirseventh consecutive victory.
Forsey, who gained 114 yards on 23 carries, scored on a nine-yard run, a 12-yard reception and a one-yard run within the first seven minutes of the second quarter to make it 27-3, and Dinwiddie added a one-yard TD rush 3:35 before the break.
Boise State, which improved to 3-0 all time against UTEP, entered the contest second in the country in scoring, averaging 46.5 points per game. But the Broncos surpassed Bowling Green (47.7), which scored 45 in a victory over Kent State earlier Saturday.
Sherman Austin had 111 yards on 28 carries for UTEP (2-7, 1-4), which gained just 46 yards through the air.
Despite outgaining the Miners, 470-250, the Broncos held the ball for only 23:34.
