LAS VEGAS (Ticker) -- Steven Thomas hauled in a 25-yard TD pass from Jason Thomas and Dillon Pieffer's extra point was the difference as Nevada-Las Vegas posted a wild 49-48 overtime victory over Wyoming in Mountain West Conference action.

Wyoming (2-7, 1-3 MWC) lost the toss for overtime but got the ball first and took a 48-42 lead on Kit Bradshaw's two-yard touchdown run. But Scott Parker missed the extra point to give UNLV a chance to win the game.
