LAS VEGAS (Ticker) -- Chance Harridge ran for two touchdowns and threw for two more to lead Air Force to a 49-32 Mountain West Conference victory over Nevada-Las Vegas.
Harridge's one-yard TD plunge opened the scoring in the second half and gave Air Force (8-3, 4-2 MWC) the lead for good at 21-14. Harridge hit Adam Strecker for a 35-yard TD pass that made it 28-17 entering the fourth.
UNLV (4-7, 2-4) pulled within 28-25 on Larry Croom's 17-yard TD run with just over 13 minutes remaining. Harridge hit J.P. Waller for a 34-yard score and Steve Massie and Darnell Stephens added touchdown runs.
Harridge had 216 yards of total offense, including 114 rushing on 21 carries. His two touchdowns on the ground gave him 19 for his career, matching a school record.
The Falcons finished with 366 yards rushing as Stephens had 89 and Leotis Palmer 50. Air Force has won two straight following a three-game losing streak.
Jason Thomas completed just 9-of-20 passes for 162 yards for UNLV. Thomas was sacked four times and intercepted once.
