COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (Ticker) -- Jam Truvillion scored on a one-yard run with 58 seconds remaining, lifting San Diego State to a 38-34 upset of Air Force in a Mountain West Conference game.
Truvillion's second touchdown of the fourth quarter capped an eight-play, 58-yard drive and gave the Aztecs a four-point lead.
Truvillion also scored on two-yard run with 9:54 remaining, pulling the Aztecs within 27-24. Lon Sheriff hit Kassim Osgood with a 31-yard touchdown pass less than four minutes later to give the Aztecs the lead.
But quarterback Chance Harridge scored on a 35-yard run with 3:16 left, giving Air Force a 34-31 lead. Harridge rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns.
Sheriff passed for 289 yards and two touchdowns. J.R. Tolver had 13 catches for 126 yards and Osgood 12 for 123 yards for the Aztecs (4-8, 4-3), who complete their season in two weeks at Hawaii.
Steve Massie added 123 yards rushing and a touchdown for Air Force (8-4, 4-3), which amassed 413 yards on the ground.
The Falcons, who already have qualified for a bowl, lost four of their last six games following a 6-0 start.
Despite the early start of 10 a.m. local time, the teams were wide awake on offense, combining for 936 total yards.
