PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Brandon Brokaw rushed for three touchdowns as Boston College rolled to a 36-14 Big East Conference victory over Temple.
Sharing time in the backfield with Derrick Knight, Brokaw had scoring runs of one, 20 and two yards. He carried 18 times for 55 yards.
Kinight also added an 11-yard touchdown run and Sand Sciortino kicked three field goals for Boston College (7-4, 2-4 Big East), which concludes its regular season next Saturday against conference doormat Rutgers.
Tanrdo Sharps scored on a one-yard run and quarterback Mike McGann had a 10-yard TD run for the Owls (4-8, 2-5), who played their season finale. Next season is Temple's final campaign in the Big East.
Knight's 11-yard run with 10:37 left before halftime gave the Eagles the lead for good at 14-7. Sciortino added a 43-yard field goal before intermission.
Sciortino kicked field goals of 32 and 38 yards in the first 8:46 of the third quarter before Brokaw's 20-yard run with 5:11 left in the quarter extended the lead to 30-7.
Sharps, who rushed for 215 yards in last week's win over Rutgers, was held to 32 on 18 carries.
