  Recruiting Watch - Allen Wallace

In the last few days before Signing Day, you would think most prospects already had made up their minds.

That's not true.

Several superior youngsters have yet to announce their intentions. And for some prospects and their families, this can be a very tormenting process.

Wednesday is Letter of Intent Day, the first day when preps can officially bind themselves to their school of choice. Don't expect all of them to sign on Feb. 7. Some will drag out the process, making the schools wait days, even weeks, until they sign on the dotted line.

Here's our current top 10, updated Feb. 6:

1) Florida State: Just got another commit -- this one from Elite 50 RB Eric Shelton.

2) LSU: Five of SuperPrep's Elite 50 aboard. Plush class.

3) Michigan: DL Charles Rush chose the Nittany Lions.

4) Texas: Pure Texas talent.

5) Washington: Rick Neuheisel will sign seven of the state's top 10 prospects.

6) Oklahoma: Six of the top 25 Texas prospects committed to Bob Stoops.

7) Nebraska: Frank Solich has the commitments of three All-Americas from Colorado.

8) Virginia Tech: -- ATH Michael Robinson defected to Joe Paterno .

9) UCLA: -- DB Matt Ware is the headliner here.

10) Notre Dame: RB Lydell Ross decommitted and may sign with OHIO ST or FLORIDA.

For more detailed information on these and other players, visit www.superprep.com.
