ATLANTA (AP) -- Thomas DeMarco ran for two touchdowns and threw for another as Old Dominion beat Georgia State 40-17 on Saturday.

Paul Morant came up with both blocks. His first blocked Matt Hubbard punt was returned by teammate Blair Roberts for a 36-yard touchdown. Morant's second block was recovered at the 19 and set up a short drive that culminated in an 8-yard TD pass from DeMarco to Reid Evans.
DeMarco added a 4-yard touchdown run with 4:27 in the third quarter and a 2-yard TD run with 10:39 to play.
Georgia State (1-1) scored on a 2-yard run by Donald Russell and a 5-yard run by Travis Evans, as well as a 26-yard field goal by Christian Benvenuto.
