Northern Colorado beats North Dakota 28-27
GREELEY, Colo. (AP) -- Tromaine Dennis ran for 222 yards and two touchdowns and Northern Colorado held on to beat North
Dakota 28-27 Saturday in the season finale for both teams.
Seth Lobato's 23-yard touchdown pass to Sawyere Monson, with Dave Eden's extra point, with 4:16 to play in the third quarter
held up as the game-winning points for the Bears (5-6, 4-4 Big Sky). Lobato was 20 for 35 for 210 yards. Northern Colorado
won four of its last five.
Braden Hanson threw for 382 yards and three touchdowns for North Dakota (5-6, 3-5), completing its first season in the Big
Sky Conference. He was 34 for 48 and threw three interceptions - two in the fourth quarter.
Greg Hardin had eight catches for 109 yards for UND.
