Donnelly leads Brown over Columbia 22-6
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Patrick Donnelly threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns as Brown defeated Columbia 22-6 Saturday
in the season finale for both Ivy League teams.
Columbia (3-7, 2-5) held a 6-0 lead behind two field goals from Luke Eddy before Donnelly hit Jonah Fay for a 29-yard touchdown
to give Brown (7-3, 4-3) its first lead of the game, 7-6.
Donnelly, who connected with Fay for a game-winning 18-yard touchdown pass in Brown's come-from-behind victory over Dartmouth
last week, hooked up with the senior receiver six times for 101 yards.
Columbia would get no closer as Donnelly connected with Jordan Evans from 29 yards out later in the second quarter to put
the Bears ahead 14-6. His 22-yarder to Andrew Marks capped off an 11-play, 89-yard, third-quarter drive and created the final
margin.
Sean Brackett led Columbia with 175 yards on 19 of 34 attempts but threw a costly interception.
