BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) -

win 45-30 on Saturday.

helped Bowling Green (4-5, 2-3 Mid-American) jump out to a 28-0 halftime lead.
But Kent State (2-7, 1-4) quarterback
threw for a touchdown, then ran for two more to get the
close with just more than five minutes left.
's 33-yard run a minute later for Bowling Green made it 45-23. Edelman threw his second touchdown pass on Kent State's next
drive, but the
couldn't score again.
Edelman ran for 170 yards and was 16 of 31 in passing for 219 yards and two interceptions. Kent State's
added 94 yards on the ground.
