LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) -
Brock Smith
threw two touchdown passes to help lead Liberty to a 30-10 victory over Gardner-Webb on Saturday night to stay unbeaten in
the Big South Conference.
Smith completed 11 of 18 passes for 226 yards and the Flames (9-2, 5-0) capitalized on five turnovers en route to victory.
Devin Campbell
completed 24 of 40 passes for 242 yards with two interceptions and
Dobson Collins
had 109 yards on 10 catches for the Bulldogs (5-6, 2-3).
Rashad Jennings
scored from 6 yards out, Smith hit
Jonathan Crawford
on a 25-yard score and
Dominic Bolden
on a 31-yard pass to give Liberty a 24-3 lead that put the game out of reach by halftime.
Ben Shipps
also kicked a pair of 28-yard field goals for Liberty.
Liberty outgained Gardner-Webb 442-363.
