Run on QBs, daring deals make '99 NFL Draft one to remember

The NFL Draft is finally over, but the buzz still is about what happened Saturday. For the first time since 1971 quarterbacks were chosen 1-2-3, and five QBs were taken in the first 12 picks. Kentucky’s Tim Couch went to Cleveland as the No. 1 pick, followed by Donovan McNabb to the Eagles and Akili Smith to the Bengals. And for the first time since anyone can remember, one team, the Saints, traded their entire draft for one player, Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams.
