Click here if you have a question for Torry Holt. He'll answer a question or two in each week's diary entry.

Wednesday is my private workout for NFL scouts and coaches, and I'm pretty excited to know I'll be able to run at full speed and show everyone what I can do.

It's been two months since I hurt my knee at the Senior Bowl, but I knew right after the surgery that I could do this if I kept working hard at rehabilitating my knee. It makes me feel really good to be able to give this kind of workout before the draft.

I'm comfortable with where my knee is -- I've been running at full speed, and I'm going to do everything at the workout that I would have done at the combines last month. I'll run the 40, do the broad jump, long jump, the cone drills and run all the routes. Hopefully, they'll see I have a little athleticism in me.

I'm not nervous about it at all. It's just another opportunity to perform, to do what I do best. I'm pretty sure just about all the teams will be there, but I'm not sure which head coaches will be able to make it. I think Mike Ditka and Bill Cowher will be there -- they both are looking for a good receiver in the draft. There should be some people from the Cowboys, and Vince Tobin and some scouts from the Cardinals as well.

Draft Mailbag

Torry, I met you in Orlando at Disney and you were very down to earth and polite with everyone you were in contact with. Keep the same attitude and stay approachable -- it will take you a long way! I do have a question -- who was the best man-to-man cornerback you faced in your career at N.C. State? -- Mayo Sanders, Palmetto, Fla.

I think North Carolina's Dre' Bly was one of my toughest opponents -- he had great hips and played the ball particularly well. Chad Scott, who played at Maryland and is now with the Steelers, was a big, tall defensive back who was tough. Clemson's Antwan Edwards, who could go in the first round this year, was another one. With all three of those, I'd get the best of them sometimes, then they'd get the best of me, too.

Torry, as a Wolfpack fan, can you tell me a little about your brother as a future Wolfpack player? I'm looking forward to seeing him play on Saturdays. -- Greg Roberts, Greensboro, N.C.

My brother Terrence will be a redshirt freshman this fall playing strong safety for the Wolfpack. He's my man, my buddy, my best friend, and I love him to death. I've been trying to be around him as much as possible to support him, to let him know what he's doing right and wrong. I think he has a promising career ahead of him -- N.C. State's spring game is this weekend, and I'll be cheering him on there.

N.C. State's Torry Holt is expected to be a high first-round pick in next month's NFL Draft. Check back each week for another draft diary from him at CNNSI.com.
