He is a player that really seems to be creeping up draft boards and while he isn't exactly what you are looking for in an OLB from a measurable standpoint, he is an old fashioned football that simply makes plays. He is a former defensive back that outgrew the position and at OLB, he shows excellent AA and good overall cover skills. He is somewhat undersized and is a finesse type player that is much better in space and in chase than when forced to play a physical inside style. He does not do a great job of getting off blocks and he can be engulfed by an OL. He has a knack for slipping blocks and getting through the "cracks" to make plays. He should be a great special teams performer on the NFL level and he is so instinctive and smart that he will make more plays in than his size and skills would indicate. Coaches have fallen in love with this guy and they just need to find the right spot for him.
