He really came on in '98 and had his best year and has developed into a very consistent receiver. He is quicker than fast and has the ability to get in and out of his routes and separate from the DB. He has some explosive-ness and a little bit of a burst and is fairly deceptive on deep balls. He is a little faster than a possession receiver, although he has those type of skills. He works the underneath and immediate routes very well, will catch in a crowd and will compete for the tough ball. He has a little trouble escaping off tight m/m coverage at times, but should be able to improve in this area. If he had big time deep speed, he would be a high pick. As it is, he is a solid complimentary type guy that will contribute as a No. 2 or No. 3 WR.
