He is a "rags to riches and almost back to rags" story. After flashing as a junior, he struggled through an up and down senior year, and his entire career has been somewhat marred by nagging injuries. He has been a very inconsistent player throughout his career, but lack of consistency mainly due to injuries has really held back his progress. He is a big and mobile guy with excellent overall athletic ability and NFL size. He has the ability to create plays with his feet, and he has a strong arm and better accuracy than many people think. He needs work on his decision making and overall poise in the pocket, but he is a guy that is making a late draft surge, and there are some NFL teams that really like his developmental qualities and may be willing to be patient and bring him along slowly. The upside here is significant.
