Going into his senior year, he looked like he had the potential to be the best TE in this draft, but his stock seems to have dropped in recent months and he appears to be a player that is a little sluggish and heavy. He has a strong athletic background as evidenced by his basketball participation early in his career at University of Georgia. He has a lot of skills to develop, including decent quickness, good overall routes and a natural feel for the passing game. Although his hands are pretty good, he tends to drop some easy balls, which may be more of a lack of concentration. He is not a dominating blocker and he is not always a physical player, but he has enough size and ability to develop into one. He also has some knee problems in his background and NFL teams will closely at his medical reports. This appears to be a guy with a lot of ability, but for some reason, he doesn't always play up to his potential and there are some concerns about his concentration and intensity. He is another guy that can move up the boards if he has good workouts and is "in shape" leading up to the draft.
