He is the biggest and most impressive TE in this draft from a physical standpoint. Although he is a former basketball player, he is not as athletic or quick as one might imagine. He does a nice job as a receiver and will extend for the ball, has some snatch ability and is pretty effective in short to intermediate routes. He has decent feet and enough size to push off the jam and work to get separation. He is not a real physical blocker in spite of his size and he doesn't seem to know how to use his size to get proper leverage. He is a guy that had a lot of fanfare when he started his college career and although he is a steady player, he doesn't seem to have ever reached the potential and excitement level that everybody predicted from him. Maybe the "light" will go on when he gets to the NFL.
