Couch is the closest thing to a franchise QB in this draft, although he is not without his detractors. He is a big, mobile guy that has outstanding size & AA and he has flourished under Hal Mumme's wide open run & shoot offense at Kentucky. As a result, he posts great numbers, but there are some minor concerns about his ability to read defenses and make a progression of throwing reads. He does have a very catchable ball and enough mobility to avoid the rush and create on his own. He does not throw a lot of deep balls, but the arm strength is certainly there and he should be able to excel in that area. It will be interesting to see if the Browns are patient with him as they build their franchise, or if he is thrown into the mix, much as Peyton Manning has been at Indianapolis.
