He is an interesting small college player that was probably rated higher heading into his senior year than he is now and he did not have a great '98 season. He definitely has the physical tools to play in the NFL and as he combines good size for a DC with solid speed, AA and is a very fluid player with loose hips. He was adequate on run support and has shown the ability to play tight m/m coverage and jam to the receiver at the LOS. He showed a great feel for the game early in his career, although as a senior, he did appear to be as instinctive or make as many big plays. He is adequate, but not great in the All Star games and the key to his draft status will be the comfort level with NFL teams on his ability to match up against better receivers than he has played against on the college level. The athletic tools are certainly there, but it may take time to develop.
