If bloodlines count, he should be an excellent NFL player. His dad Lawrence, who is currently a scout for the St. Louis Rams, was a great RB for the LA Rams and his son is following in his footsteps. He is not a big DC, but he plays a lot more physical and tougher than his size indicates. He has excellent overall athletic ability and is very fluid in his movement and shows good ability to turn and run with WRs. He has a short burst, but is not the quickest DB in this group on his plant and drive and at times, he seems to be a step late getting to the ball. He is however, a good overall technician and doesn't have a lot of wasted movement and even though he seems to be a step late at times, he does appear to have good instincts. He will come up versus the run, is not afraid to mix it up and is a good open field tackler. His lack of height sometimes shows up with bigger and more physical WRs who can outjump him, especially in the red zone, but this is a very competitive football player that has played on a high level and should be able to step in and contribute to a NFL team. He should be a solid NFL player, but maybe not a great one.
