He is a transfer from Michigan who has a huge upside, but not a lot of experience. He dominated in his one year of play at Western Illinois and he followed it up with a solid combine. He is a very interesting edge rusher candidate who really flashes coming off the corner, and has a lot of upfield qualities. He has never really been asked to drop into coverage, and he looks like a guy that would be wasted in pass defense. The question for him will be whether he can hold up vs. the run, which is always a problem for tweener-type DE's. At the very least, he can be an athletic situational pass rusher that should be outstanding on special teams, and at best, he could turn into a double-digit sack guy on the NFL level. The upside here is very strong.
